For Shen Wei, for the pain in his chest that hadn't ceased since Zhao Yunlan left, it didn't need a long speech, a long argument. He didn't need much more than that oblivion which, for him, meant forgiveness. Anything else would just be superfluous.

As it was during their previous meetings, the man didn’t look surprised. He was wearing black robes that reminded Shen Wei a bit of his own, though the stranger’s were of slightly lower quality. Hell probably didn’t care much about the prices of the materials, especially when dressing their failed experiments.
“I still don’t know who you are,” the man said out of the blue, addressing Shen Wei directly for the first time.
“Most people ask me what am I.”

Zhao Yunlan and Wu Xie meet in a queer bar on a cold January night in Shanghai, over drinks and stories of broken hearts. The problem for both was that they - or those with them - didn't know what they wanted before, in a very recent past.
The problem for both of them now, is that they know exactly what they want.
