"Why would you—" Wei gasps between the kisses, pulling Kunlun so close that he can feel his heartbeat in his own chest. "Why would you show me how it feels— how we feel, and then leave me here, why would you do that?"

"Is that a kink?"

Yeah, probably. Not a kink Zhao Yunlan would have expected himself to have, but pretty much everything Shen Wei has ever done makes some kind of primal heat coil in his belly, rewiring him in ways that are both new and strangely right.

He's not sure if the relief is supposed to come from finding a familiar detail or from not finding it. It never comes either way.

Their bodies were warm from the lingering closeness between them, the sheets tangled loosely around their legs.

A low amber light spilled across the bed, catching on Shen Wei’s skin and turning the loose strands of his dark hair almost golden at the edges. 

He looked—undone.

Zhao Yunlan tries his best to set up a picnic date.

All the hungry youchu leap forward at once, and Wei doesn't have time to think.

He pushes Kunlun behind himself, as if the mighty Mountain God has ever needed his protection — that's his first blunder. The second one is much worse. Wei's body feels too small somehow, and his wings unfurl and spread before he can stop them, creating a barrier between Kunlun and the attacking monsters.

Time Engraver doesn't want him to be crying — heavens forbid, he doesn't want this man to cry, not ever — but somehow it feels like he should be. These words don't sound right otherwise.

"Did you just prank Shen Wei? Did you worry the Lord Emissary so that random people click your video? Don't you have any shame?"

"Oh, so you do know what that is?" Daqing retorts.

"So, now that we have studied it, what was your favorite part of the book?" Shen San murmurs, languid and satisfied, smiling against Wei's bare shoulder blade.

"Now can we break in the new bed?" Zhao Yunlan asks plaintively once he's managed to kick everyone out. He's definitely demoting whoever decided to throw them a housewarming party.

"How is this even possible?" Zhao Yunlan groans. His voice sounds almost delirious, but then, he'd be more concerned if it didn't given that he's just come for the fourth time in less than an hour.

Not fair, Xiao Wei.

When Zhao Yunlan drops to his knees right in the middle of the dark alleyway, Shen Wei doesn't stop him. His own body frozen, as Zhao Yunlan's hands slide down the fabric of his trousers, too hot even through the thick material. Zhao Yunlan looks up at him, his mouth already so red and parted, his tongue darting to wet them, before he presses those beautiful lips to his crotch and mouths at it.
Shen Wei keens.

Zhao Yunlan has an oral fixation and a plan.

There are hands under Shen Wei's shirt and up his thighs, cupping the back of his neck, gently removing his glasses— He wants them to continue, his eyes fluttering closed and his body arching up, embarrassingly eager even before the soft touches become more defined, but there is a dizzying weightlessness to all of it that makes him sit up.

"Yunlan?" he says, and the hands stop.

"I'm here, Xiao Wei," Zhao Yunlan kisses Shen Wei's temple, the glasses still in his hand. "Not having fun?"

Chu Shuzhi catches Guo Changcheng when he falls off a ladder. Feelings ensue.
