"Well?" Zhao Yunlan asked, as soon as Shen Wei came back to himself. Nothing had changed around them, but Shen Wei had clearly been doing something with the Hallows.

Shen Wei took a breath, then another. Whatever it was had clearly tired him more than a little. After a moment, however, he seemed to recover. He looked at Zhao Yunlan and and a joyful smile spread across his face. "It's done. Come," he said, reaching for Zhao Yunlan.

I remembered that the Wizard Rock group Harry and the Potters had made a similar observation about the bathrooms in Hogwarts ... and thus a songvid was born!

Chu Shuzhi finds a shop that grants wishes. He went in expecting smoke and mirrors, and perhaps to be down 50 yuan spent on crystals or snake oil. He did not expect Zhao Yunlan or Shen Wei to actually be magic, nor to find that wish granting is as profitable a business as they claimed. He definitely did not expect Guo Changcheng. Or to make a wish on his behalf.

In another life Shen Wei's still waiting for Yunlan to be reincarnated. Walking through the grey streets of December he finds a glimpse of his soul, embedded in a soft touch of snowflakes.

Shen Wei, like all Dixingren, has a unique relationship with the sun, a quiet reverence for its light that comes with growing up in darkness. Zhao Yunlan may not have exactly the same experience, but dying has changed his appreciation of the sunlight, has given him an insight into why his beloved clings to that light with such fervour. It’s easier now, to understand. After all, Zhao Yunlan also knows a thing or two about reverence.

“I thought we could celebrate Nianzhi's birthday!” Guo Changcheng held the party hats up as he spoke.

Chu Shuzhi just stared.

“What?”

Guo Changcheng looked down at his feet. “I thought… um… because… I dunno, it's stupid.”

“Come in,” Chu Shuzhi said as he pulled Guo Changcheng into his apartment. “Tell me your idea, none of this ‘its stupid’ crap.”

Chu Shuzhi always gets sad and grumpy around his and Nianzhi’s birthday. But this year Guo Changcheng decides to help.

A credible threat to Dragon City's Museum of Art has Zhao Yunlan playing babysitter. It's not all boring though, as Professor Shen Wei stops by with his students and then something goes missing.

Zhao Yunlan quickly comes to terms with his feelings for a thief as he spends more time with Shen Wei.
