"You okay? You look like a dog with fleas," Da Qing commented, hopping up on the table and eyeing him, his tail twitching.

After all this, the two men who stepped forward through the smoke were, to Wu Xie's eyes, surprisingly normal.

Zhang Qiling was staring at them with great intensity, and then made an odd gesture, a kind of archaic bow, it seemed to Wu Xie. More surprisingly, one of the two men acknowledged it, returning what was clearly a matching but different gesture. "Do you know them?"

The two men were looking at them—especially Zhang Qiling—with interest, and the one with glasses answered, "We haven't met, but you recognize us."

Chu Shuzhi finds a shop that grants wishes. He went in expecting smoke and mirrors, and perhaps to be down 50 yuan spent on crystals or snake oil. He did not expect Zhao Yunlan or Shen Wei to actually be magic, nor to find that wish granting is as profitable a business as they claimed. He definitely did not expect Guo Changcheng. Or to make a wish on his behalf.

A credible threat to Dragon City's Museum of Art has Zhao Yunlan playing babysitter. It's not all boring though, as Professor Shen Wei stops by with his students and then something goes missing.

Zhao Yunlan quickly comes to terms with his feelings for a thief as he spends more time with Shen Wei.

Not even the Hallows can stop time. But they can bend it, twist it, stretch a second into eternity. He doesn't need an eternity. One more second is enough.
