Every day after work, Guo Chang Cheng writes his thoughts in a diary, explaining the happenings inside the SID and sharing his feelings about his coworkers and friends. Sometimes, his coworkers highjack his journal and leave comments for him too. (1st person POV, diary format, dramaverse)

Lin Jing begins to feel a bit melancholic about his sister not really texting or calling him back during the week, finding himself missing talking with his family. Of course, as the need for a picture of the whole of SID takes place, he realizes that he might have another family around that is there for him now.

Lin Jing loves to experiment and create, though he knows that half of his experiments end-up being disastrous. Being the self-sacrificing idiot he is, Shen Wei agrees to be a part of one such experiment, concerning the undergrounders. Chaos ensues.

All Shen Wei wants is to go home. Fortunately, home finds him.

“No.” It doesn’t matter that they haven’t found any other way to defeat Ye Zun and save the world but to light the Lantern, yet. “Not happening.”

There are quite a few things Zhao Yunlan will accept to do when the fate of the world is in the balance. Sacrficing Shen Wei will never be one of them, for all that the android thinks it's the best option.

Shen Wei freezes time to tell Zhao Yunlan he loves him.

“Look into his mind,” Zhao Yunlan cries out. He knows he’s grasping at straws but he’s desperate. “Surely, of all the powers you have gobbled up, there must be one that allows you to look into his mind? See his memories?”

Shen Wei had always been an example of strength and control. His entire life, he had control over himself even if all else was chaos. That piece of him broke along with all the others as he watched Yunlan fall. He wasn’t the Black Cloaked Envoy, he wasn’t Shen Wei. He wasn’t anything without him.
He saw his enemy move out of the corner of his eye. Before he realised what he was doing, he acted.

The first time that Zhao Yunlan sees him, he honestly stops mid-step. It’s a whole moment from one of the stupid rom-coms Da Qing watches and he pretends to ignore.

Set before "Hold Me Down With Your Words". A series of seemingly insignificant events lead to the discovery of a new Dixing power. Meanwhile, Zhao Yunlan learns that you should never underestimate the power of words—quite literally. Cue the Black-Cloaked Envoy to rescue this brave, reckless fool who owns his heart.

In which Zhao Yunlan is a mercenary with Connections and Shen Wei is his boyfriend with a very questionable background.

A Final Fantasy 7 Remake/Guardian fusion.

For Guardian Week 2020 Day 3: Fantasy; Action & Case Solving.

Following the "blind arc," Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei share an unbreakable bond in the form of dark energy flowing in between the two. When a new case appears in Dixing, Shen Wei is asked to investigate, only to return to Haixing with a deadly condition embedded in his body. Zhao Yunlan and the rest of SID work overtime trying to solve the mystery before Shen Wei perishes for good.

“Of course.” Zhu Hong waves her drink around again. “That’sss not the important thing. The important thing isss, Zhao Yunlan is a bad kisser.”

Silence.

“That… can’t be right,” Lin Jing says uncertainly. “The boss has definitely had multiple girlfriends. And I assume some boyfriends.”

They’re standing awkwardly in the corridor by their apartments. They’ve run out of trite phrases – “I’ll see you tomorrow” and “I guess I’ll turn in now” – but there’s still an undercurrent fizzing between them, something that neither is quite ready to act on, and yet neither is able to completely ignore either.

By this point, Shen Wei was pretty sure that Zhao Yunlan was either doing it on purpose or he had angered some Dixien whose power was making clothes disappear.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan move in together. Shen Wei's clothes start going missing.
