After a minute Zhu Yilong tried again and said with the same smile plastered over her face: “Let’s go inside at least. I don’t want anyone seeing us like this here. You know how paparazzis are these days.” She reminded her sweetheart lovingly and caressed her head. With a grumble Bai Yu let go of her Long-jie and let out a huff.

“I don’t mind who sees us. Let the world know that I have the most beautiful girlfriend on this planet. No, in this universe!” Bai Yu exclaimed while gesturing with her hands towards Zhu Yilong, who started blushing violently.

Shen Wei comes home from Dixing, exhausted, and Zhao Yunlan has to figure out how to get him to rest.

Zhao Yunlan came very close to dying, he knows that. He remembers Shen Wei getting in between him and the rogue Dixingren and—then there's nothing more until he's waking up in the SID lab, with a giant black cat resting its head on his chest. Trying to pinpoint the exact species of cat is not on the forefront of his mind.

He bites down on his lip hard enough to bleed and stays quiet. His body jerks every time the whip bites into his back.

// It had been four weeks since Shen Wei had woken in an unfamiliar place, finding out that he would never stand on his two own two feet again. One moment he had been walking back to the university after his lunch break, same as he did every day; the next a small boy was running into the road, right into the path of a bus.

“Speaking of characters in someone else’s story—” Zhao Yunlan slouched back in Professor Shen’s visitor’s chair and tapped the calligraphy brush thoughtfully against his crossed leg. “—I’ve been thinking about the Black-Cloaked Envoy.”

It was a peaceful morning out in the Chinese countryside as a tall man with light skin, black hair, and brown eyes hidden behind wire glasses dressed in black pants, a white dress shirt, dress shoes, and suit jacket carrying a bouquet of flowers walked over to an abandoned home that was put up for sale. He then placed the bouquet of flowers down on the ground before the house before kneeling on the ground, putting his hands together in prayer. As he knelt there, his eyes closed, he suddenly felt the muzzle of a gun being pointed at his head, causing him to slowly lower his hands and open his eyes before he turned to see who was pointing a gun at him. When he turned and looked up, his eyes widened in shock.

They drag in the prisoner, throwing him to the floor in front of Shen Wei. He tries not to react, he doesn't like the way Dixing treats its prisoners, but there's little he can do about it. Dixing doesn't have the luxury of being merciful.

The Special Host Club (SHC) is a covert organization which is exclusive for the higher class in Dragon City. It is dedicated on helping their customers’ needs, entertaining every customer they can, and accepting special requests if needed. The “Daddy” Zhao Yunlan who’s known to be the Prince of Dragon City is the most famous host in SHC. He is the host who can have a hundred customers in one sitting: whether they be men or women. He’s not that picky since he’s proud of his sexuality and that is being bisexual. One night, a calm and reserved Professor Shen Wei acted on instinct to try to save a woman who he thought was in danger. He accidentally barged inside the club, grabbed the most expensive vase that might be more valuable than a person’s life, and threw it at the man holding the woman’s waist. Zhao Yunlan, who was watching the whole scene, thought he was in an action movie watching his knight in shining armor saving him from danger. He fell in love at first sight and so he pestered the poor professor to join his club as his payment for the broken vase. Will Shen Wei accept the consequences?

Zhao Yunlan had had no intention of waking up again. Dying for the greater good had seemed like a fair trade-off at the time. Even if it meant an eternity of agony.

Chu Shuzhi and Guo Changcheng hunt for a dangerous attacker. Back at headquarters, the rest of the team tries to help by doing research.

A sharp flash of lightning lit the clearing, followed by a crack of thunder that shook the air. Zhao Yunlan blinked against the light and in the moment it took his eyes to adjust, the beast charged.
