When Zhao Yunlan, drunkenly, mentions at one of his business meetings at one of the bars, that he is so happy to be married to the best person ever, he soon begins to receive flowers in congratulations of his marriage. Of course, he finds all that ridiculous, and he wishes it would stop. It is ruining his image that people know how sappy he is about being in love and married. At least Shen Wei knows how happy he is to be married.

“It would seem that using the Longevity Dial has as a side-effect that we now feel each other’s pain,” Shen Wei answers.

His fist tightens around Shen Wei’s pendant and, as the flame takes him, starts consuming him, he prays. It’s a quiet thing, a whisper of a thought in the back of his dimming consciousness, that they may meet again one day. That the universe may be kinder to them next time. 

That Shen Wei doesn’t have to wait yet another ten thousand years for him.

Kunlun has lived alone for an unknown span of time in the mountain. One day, he receives a visit from a black-robed stranger.

Zhao Yunlan knew Shen Wei carried all the baggage of Kunlun's past lives with him. He didn't realize just how true that was until he stumbled upon yet another secret.

Zhao Yunlan loves his Shen Wei. From the tip of his feathery head to the bottom of his talons. There's plenty of people who'd call him a demon sympathizer or demon fucker and Yunlan doesn't care. They're just jealous they don't have a handsome as hell demon cooking dinner at home for them.
