"I never rejected you!" Shen Wei parroted the statement, wearing the same look. He had been the one to confess. How could he reject Zhao Yunlan?

"Liar!" Zhao accused. "You said, good for you and ran away like a fucking disney princess. What was I supposed to do? And then you ignored the shit outta me!"

Shen Wei was an elite bounty hunter. He had never failed to retrieve a single bounty, he had never broken the code.

Sometimes a family can be a bounty hunter, his cat, and the people they kidnap along the way.

Shen Wei is a successful art dealer who is sent to a small, independent pottery atelier to convince a reluctant artist to sell his pieces and gain fame in the process. However, Zhao Yunlan sees a different value in his work other than money alone and refuses to sell out. Shen Wei learns to see things from Zhao Yunlan's perspective, but his bosses are none too pleased and pressure him to make a decision: the artist, or the artwork.

The attack comes from behind in the middle of a skirmish, while Zhao Yunlan is using all his concentration to sight his targets and fire, making sure his shots are true. Something hits him just below the ribs, and it burns like fire. He spins to look. There’s no one there. When he touches the place he was hit, his hand comes away wet, sticky, red.

Until now, in this time, their couplings have been (for want of a better word) romantic. But of course, that’s not all that sex can be.

Zhao Yunlan is sick of Shen Wei's self-sacrificial tendencies.

When the Ghost King returned Kunlun's soulfire, he only hoped for a kiss. What he got was a whole lot more then that.

Zhao Yunlan had just stepped toward his team to accept their congratulations on being cured from blindness when a sudden wind whipped up inside the SID premises. Electricity crackled in the air, and there was the sudden smell of ozone. Quickly, Zhao Yunlan turned to look at Shen Wei, who was standing there with a tight smile on his lips, looking pale.

"I want a lifetime of kisses. Not a day, where you don't let me smooch the fuck outta you." He expressed his intentions and in return, he did get to smooch the fuck outta Shen Wei.

“And what do you wish for?” Zhao Yunlan returns the question without thinking.
