Even though he doesn’t regret a single moment, his decisions will still have great consequences. And he only has a single night to figure out how to keep Zhao Yunlan by his side or lose him forever.

Maybe the Universe decided to take pity on their poor, foolish, longing hearts. Maybe the Hallows are just finicky like that, and decided that their Guardians deserved a second chance for all of their pain and all their sacrifices.


Whatever the case, the point is, they are both alive and whole and as well as they can be, considering.

They are alive, they survive Ye Zun and self-sacrfices both, and Zhao Yunlan wants to step forward into the future together with Shen Wei.

Shen Wei is on a mission to show Zhao Yunlan he loves him.

Bakery owner Shen Wei really, really likes his customer Zhao Yunlan (and by "likes" he may also mean...really, really wants...). But...it's a business environment. There's no acting on those feelings right? Absolutely no way. So Shen Wei tries to put those thoughts out of his mind...

...fortunately, as it turns out, Zhao Yunlan is just as interested, and much more creative in thinking up a solution.

Guo Changcheng assumed that Chu Shuzhi would prefer to keep their new relationship a secret from their colleagues. He was wrong.

Zhao Yunlan plans a birthday surprise. The team 'helps'

Zhao Yunlan has ideas and so does Shen Wei.

But if Zhao Yunlan truly wanted something, would Shen Wei have the heart to deny him? Especially after he offered up his seasoned shameless act?

Can a Ghost King who's suffered through endless restraint ever be able to submit to it again?

Kunlun laughs into the ghost king’s hair, breathing in the clean smell of his musk and sweat. “All right,” he says. “But you can’t back out once we start, understand?”

“I want it all,” says Wei fiercely.

“Humans are so stupid,” Da Qing huffs, tail lashing in the air.

“I am not human,” Shen Wei tells him, voice quiet, tight.

It makes Da Qing settle and still, looking at him carefully. Like he’s just remembered that Hei Pao Shi is in his kitchen, bribing him with bites of salmon and generating enough dark energy to fuel a city for a year if anyone could figure out how to harness it.

“Then you know better than to listen to her.”

“I know enough to let it be,” Shen Wei agrees mildly.
