The black robed creature acted as if he didn’t hear his companion and spoke once more. “I suppose it doesn’t matter right as of this moment,” he crossed his legs and continued, “Let me tell you a story; a secret.”

Shen Wei’s new wings only glow when he's trying to hide them, which is unexpectedly helpful when he decides to practice flying at night. Zhao Yunlan is more surprised to be invited than he is by the wings themselves.

Shen Wei actually huffs at him, as if he is being so patently ridiculous that fear-tinged fury would be too dignified an answer. “How can I trust you?”

Ye Zun tries a different tactic to defeat his brother, that may tear apart everything Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan have worked to build between them.

The lead-up to the mutual apology in episode 15, and what came after.

Shen Wei calls Zhao Yunlan “Ah-Lan” for the first time and Zhao Yunlan is way too happy about it. So he needs some punishment. Also Shen Wei is really bad at holding back (courtesy of 10.000 years of abstinence) but Zhao Yunlan doesn’t mind at all.
