Wei, being his Ge, cannot give up on Ye Zun no matter how much everyone hates Zun. It's the difficult road to recovery for Zun under his watchful Ge's eyes. The twins bond. They start over.

Of course, Zun has done a lot of crimes and they can't go unpunished either because Wei believes that being impartial as a leader is very important. They struggle but eventually get on the path of redemption. And Lan is waiting for Wei, patiently through this all.
