A man around his own age approached the counter, a small smile on his face, dark brown eyes that felt oddly familiar to him… like he’d seen them before. Black hair was neatly combed, making him look like he’d blend in better in an office, than a coffee shop.

“Good morning.” The man’s eyes widened at the sight of him, before his expression was schooled into something more neutral, “My apologies about the wait. What can I get for you?”

In which Zhao is given the opportunity to become Spirit Detective.

'The man was frowning but it seemed more like a pout and Zhao was positively gleeful.

“Shen Wei, the pleasure is all mine,” Zhao winked and gave a mock bow with a hand flourish, softly cursing as his momentum made him do another three-sixty rotation. He grinned sheepishly as he came to a stop.

Zhao saw the tiny amused smiled that played at the edges of those soft-looking lips. “You’re very… Lively for someone who just died.”

The Dixing kingdom's delegation set off for a peace treaty with the kingdom of Haixing as new tides of the world was coming. For some, this was a turning point for the three kingdoms. For Ye Zun and his father, this was a chance to bring back their two other family members home with them. The past retains its stories and secrets, the present shakes the foundations of everyone's belief, and the future is a path back home.

Zhu Jiu joined Ye Zun because he wanted to make Dixing a better place. Then he discovers that the Boss doesn't want to make Dixing a better place or improve the lot of Dixingians, but rather destroy the world and everyone in it, Dixingians included.

In which Shen Wei deceives Zhao Yunlan and suffers the consequences.

It's as the title says - the five times Shen Wei did a horny grip™ because let it be known that while Zhao Yunlan is explicitly shamelessly thirsty, Shen Wei is equally as thirsty but in a more lowkey manner. Oh, and of course, WeiLan as lesbians can't be passed up for this.

Five things Zhao Yunlan shouldn't know about Shen Wei.

Shen Wei is silent as he listens to Chu Shuzhi’s latest report, staring at the corkboard covered in photos of Zhao Yunlan, lost in thought. The SID is used to this though. Ever since Zhao Yunlan disappeared two weeks ago, Shen Wei has been desperately searching for any hint of him, and the team wasn’t surprised when he announced that he had quit his teaching position. They all know Shen Wei is out there, searching for any clue, no matter how slight.

He had to believe a more concerted victory was possible, or why would the Hallows have brought him back at all, but there were too many factors to consider, and Chu Shuzhi was a fighter, not a philosopher or a scientist. Better to keep things on a need-to-know basis, for now, and go directly to the Envoy.

Before he heads to Dixing for the final time, Shen Wei realizes there is one final protection he can grant Zhao Yunlan, this one legal.
