"Shen Wei” he calls out. “Where are you Shen Wei?” he shoots two monsters in the head. For the moment there are no more coming. So Yun Lan turns to the cliff face where he last saw Shen Wei. Did he fall off the cliff? “Shen Wei” he calls out again, his gut twisted and heart pumping faster than it ever has, dread seeping into his body.

Wei is hungry, and Kun Lun is all too happy to feed him.

He found Shen Wei in the kitchen, his face turned away from him, shoulders hunched, reminding Yun Lan of one particular night.

Zhao Yun Lan wasn’t feeling well. He sneezed for the hundredth time that day. His muscles were sore and weak. Perhaps he should call it a day and head home. But will the team behave in his absence? Another sneeze wrecked his body.
Perhaps he didn’t really have a choice in the matter. Soon his head would start to spin and then how would he drive himself back home?

Shen Wei is... coping, after they rescue him from his brother's pillar in Dixing. Nightmares haunt what little sleep he can get. He can hardly lie in any position or move through his day without pain.

He yanked again at his bound hands, more in frustration than in any real hope of freeing himself. Barbed wire bit wickedly deeper into the flesh of his wrists. He grimaced.

The smaller man's eyes fluttered open. He shook his head from side to side slowly, like an animal struggling with the effects of a poison sting. "Chu… g-ge." His teeth chattered. "I'm s-sorry I c-couldn't p-protect you."
