Da Qing is, above all else, a cat.

Da Qing doesn't want to go home. He has a problem with Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei doing *things*. And he'll turn his problems into the whole Department's problems.

YeZun have the chance right in his hands to finally kill Shen Wei and shows who is the real Ghost King. But life would ever be the same if his brother is no longer here? Because Shen Wei had Kunlun to love, and YeZun had what? Did he ever know what such a thing like love feels?

He’d intended to help him to the bed, but midway through the living room, Shen Wei lists dangerously to one side. Zhao Yunlan half-lowers him to the couch, half-allows his knees to buckle.

The impact forces a pained grunt past Shen Wei’s self-control. Still, he sits there with better posture than Zhao Yunlan has ever had, and smiles up at him. “Thank you. Stop looking so worried, I’m fine.”

Or: after rescuing Shen Wei from Dixing, Zhao Yunlan takes care of him. It takes some doing.

Two years ago, the Black Robed Envoy cut ties with the Guardian Order and maintains his silence even as the new Guardian remolds SID. But the strings of fate cannot be denied and pull them both into a case that will be their beginning.

Zhao Yunlan is used to work undercover. This time, the place is the Ghost Tribe, a bar in the grimy part of Dragon's City which serves as safe haven for criminals. Investigating the possible involvement of the bar owner with his customers' criminal's affairs, he sees himself being dragged by his feelings for Shen Wei, the ruler of Ghost Tribe. Instead of cleaning the place, he's falling in love, helplessly.
Or: Zhao Yunlan, you had ONE job.

At the crossroads, somewhere between the worlds, there is a coffee shop.
It didn’t use to be one, not initially, but what started out as a teahouse had to evolve, to accommodate changes. Of course, in some realities, it is still a teahouse. In others – a tavern. In even more distant ones, it is perceived as something else entirely, but at its core, it is a place of encounters. Of meetings, planned and auspicious, anticipated and accidental.

Zhao Yunlan misses his ex. Especially when he's been drinking.
So he keeps calling. And Shen Wei keeps coming when he calls.
But this is not sustainable.

Zhao Yunlan is the prince of Haixing. Though his father is kind of a douchebag, he also has great friends, a comfortable life and the people of the kingdom who love him with all their heart. And though he likes taking long rides in the forest, he - of course - never met a dragon before. Nobody has for a long time now. People don’t even really believe in them anymore, they only exist in fairy tales and in the imagination of little kids. Or so thought Zhao Yunlan. But meeting a mysterious man with a black cloak turns everything upside down.

Shen Wei doesn’t know what makes him come inside the shop. It is not a very remarkable place, off the beaten track really, hidden in one of the small alleys of the old town. True, it is getting late and the clouds suggest the possibility of rain in the near future, but Shen Wei is not far from his home so he doesn’t really need to seek shelter right now. Still, he stops in front of the shop.

Ye Zun and Zhao Yunlan are having yet another fight over another inane thing when Ye Zun says something that throws Zhao Yunlan off. Turns out, Shen Wei forgot to mention a few things to Ye Zun about his release from the Ministry prison.

Yunlan is held captive by Shen Wei, his ex-boyfriend. And that's about it.

Shen Wei watched him, Luo Fei.

It's not exactly surprising or unexpected that it happens. Shen Wei should have expected it, all things considered. He supposes he just didn't expect Zhao Yunlan to get so impatient that he'd bike over on his lunch break and corner Shen Wei at his desk.
