Follow-up to The Heart of the Matter. Case fic.

As Zhao Yunlan relishes the recent turn his relationship with Shen Wei has taken, a mysterious death at school—the discovery of a female student turned into a statue—as well as the vanishings of various students on campus appear to be linked with the old science building, which is rumored to be a nest for ghosts or evil spirits. While Shen Wei looks for clues on campus, Zhao Yunlan and his SID handle a series of perfect burglaries, but both cases seem to point in the same direction, and as the group gets closer to the truth, Zhao Yunlan ends up on the wrong side of the investigation.

What will become of Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan's blooming relationship, and will Shen Wei's true identity be revealed at last?

Shen Wei is in the business of pleasure. Zhao Yunlan is eager to experience everything The Dragon’s Lair has to offer, but what he wants most is Shen Wei himself.

“He has made his choice.”

Ah. Perhaps Shen Wei’s night will have some semblance of peace after all.

Zhao Yunlan was badly hurt when Shen Wei was leading a lecture. Now he has to save his lover.

Dragon City University faculty want Shen Wei to be the new university chancellor. Shen Wei wants more time alone with Zhao Yunlan. The one, as it turns out, can lead to the other. Along the way, long-standing divisions are resolved and everyone gets a happy ending.

This was written as a sequel to Mandatory Faculty Meeting but can be read as a standalone.

They find him wandering the woods. A gory gash curves along the back of his skull, hidden beneath long silver hair. His feet are bloodied and bare. Half-healed welts litter his back, trailing down the knobs of his spine. He could count his ribs if he wanted to. He doesn't, but they do.

This is the story of Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan from different universes loosing the other half of their heart, and finding their way back to eachother. But what happens when the person in front of you isn't the same person you lost?

Just as he thought he might take his last breath, Zhao Yunlan saves Shen Wei's life and forges a friendship that would redefine the Ghost General.

For Zhao, Shen's beauty is physically painful.

About this fic: Each chapter is a small Pic Fic of AU scenarios of Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan, and possibly other characters.There is no chronological order to the stories and no set universe. These range from silly to dramatic, to utterly ridiculous. Non-con and and Mpreg may appear. I write these to relieve stress, so they could be anything.

Zhao Yunlan has just been dumped by his longtime girlfriend, and now is looking to have a bit of fun with no feelings involved. After picking up Shen Wei at a bar and taking him home, Zhao Yunlan makes him an offer requiring little involvement on his part. The two hit it off, but things don't go quite as planned for Zhao Yunlan when the budding friendship between Shen Wei and his cat Da Qing begins to stir feelings in him for the man.

No animals were harmed in the making of this story.

"I want to see what you're like when you're so fucked-out you're crying," Zhao Yunlan says, and Shen Wei's eyes fly wide, his lips parting without a sound. He is making the face he does when Zhao Yunlan hits on a kink neither of them knew he had.
