Zhao Yunlan had become Lord Guardian at 18, taking over Guardian Bookshop and the hell gate contained within. His normal day consisted of pretending to know how to run a normal bookshop and teasing his cat, until a local professor swept in and swept Zhao Yunlan off his feet.

Agent 00, or rather Shen Wei, is at the head of a major operation and his identity must remain secret, so that involves a whole lot of lying. One, night, when Shen Wei ends up being taken into custody by a charming yet persevering policeman, he ends up having to hide his true self from someone who is determined to find out the truth.

Sharp. Blunt. Shen Wei was worried, now. Zhao Yunlan really should say something. If only he could look away from where his eyes had locked up, oh-so-inconveniently shutting down the rest of his brain along with them.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are the biggest café rivals in Dragon City. It's pretty well known that they aren’t on the best terms—in fact, they can’t stand the sight of one another.
