Date night is something that Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei try hard to work into their schedules. It’s a way to briefly shuck off their heavy responsibilities and just enjoy time with one another.

And while it’s a goal they strive for most times date night gets pushed aside for things deemed more important. Usually something that involves saving the world.

But today is different. Today Zhao Yunlan has shoved the world and its concerns back for date night to commence. Luckily for him (perhaps not Shen Wei) it’s his turn to pick where they go tonight!

When Shen Wei finally gets a phone, Zhao Yunlan seizes the opportunity with both hands.

Shen Wei can only wonder how many bear pictures there can possibly be to be found on the internet.

Shen Wei isn’t sure if he considers himself born. If he thinks hard enough, he can bring up hazy, black and white images of a humanoid figure hunched over him; a soft, warm voice sings in a language he has long forgotten, and a gentle hand combs through his hair.
In his darkest days, when he reaches for these images most, he’s not sure if these are a memory or the desperate attempts of a mind seeking comfort.
In any case, language is complex and difficult to get precise, and so born is probably still the best word for how Shen Wei came into being. He was born.
His brother, Ye Zun, was born first.

Zhao Yunlan is a horny bastard. Shen Wei is either cursed or blessed, I'm not sure which.

The half-formed words slip out loud and sharp within the confines of the warehouse and Zhao Yunlan freezes in place, eyes widening to an almost comical degree.

He probably should have brought back-up with him. Scratch that, he should definitely have. Shen Wei is going to be very mad at him, so mad, but that’s a thought for later. Right now, Zhao Yunlan needs to survive the hellish sight that’s before him.

What would you recommend to encourage affection? Well, I certainly wouldn't think of a cat breaking my favorite teacup.
