It starts something like this: Ye Zun tries to hit on him during their high school reunion, completely forgetting who he is.

Zhanying’s mistake (?) is to turn him down.

[Founder of Diabolism AU] Shen Wei and Yunlan, and their first morning in safety.

“So you’re okay with it?” Zhao Yunlan asked finally. “Me going out with her tonight?”

Shen Wei blinked at him. “Why wouldn’t I be okay with it?”

“I mean, if the sex is as good as you’re making it out to be, then clearly, he’s trying to keep it going,” Ye Zun says simply. “Three words, ge-ge — friends with benefits.”

The seventh lifetime. Xiao Wei meets a mysterious scholar.

When Wei Ying grins at him, raising a finger, saying, “You know, it feels like we’ve known each other for a long time,” the desperate want within Lan Zhan to cross the distance of a few steps between them and embrace him much tighter than he ever had in any of their past lives increases a thousandfold.

But Lan Zhan’s eyes only barely soften as he looks Wei Ying over. “Who knows,” he makes himself say with more ease than he feels, “Maybe we have met each other before.”
