Shen Wei comes home to a surprise.

There was nothing about it to indicate any value— it was only quartz and cord. But it seemed to Zhao Yunlan’s eyes that the necklace leapt off of the counter in subtly more than three dimensions, its red string redder than the color itself, its clear stone larger at the center than at the surface. The chain of worked gold and rubies underneath it looked as insubstantial in comparison as shadows behind the thing that cast them.

He blinked hard.

“I see,” said the Magpie softly, “you’re quite interested in that.”

When a child was brought to the shop by Da Qing, one who had fallen from a window and was on the verge of death, it seemed his destiny was set in stone.

XXXholic AU. After KunLun's gone, Shen Wei runs the shop. Every generation he gets a visitor.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan was a sweethearts since they were young boys till the last year of highschool. Something Unknown happened and Zhao yunlan disappear leaving Shen wei heartbroken.

When years later things happen again and the two meet, will zhao yunlan or shen wei accept their fate that the two are supposed to be together? or will they choose to live their separate way?.

Shen Wei is the Ghost King, born out of the unyielding chaos of entropy that had consumed the underworld before the creation of the wheel of reincarnation. He's the cosmic guardian of death and all her darlings, and the universe through the lens of his eye is rife with demons, hungry ghosts, and shadows creeping out of their places. So there is absolutely no way he is getting sick.

Shen Wei has been gone a week, away on a university conference up North of Haixing. Left behind Zhao YunLan is an angry depressed mushroom, giving his subordinates a tough time by being increasingly moody because he's an actual fucking child like that.

“We will meet again… maybe in another life.”

But it wasn’t as easy as that. Reincarnation has its tricks, and just because both of them were fated to meet again, didn’t mean destiny would take pity on them and make it happen soon, after all, Shen Wei still had many things he needed to atone to. (This work is not exactly canon compliant, so bear with me).

When Zhao Yunlan meet Shen Wei's high school classmate who self-proclaimed to be the Prof's fiance.

Fight and chaos ensue.

Shen Wei didn't understand until Zhao YunLan, what it was like to completely fall in love.

Shen puts his all into being a dad, Zhao kinda doesn't help.

After finishing the Guardian series, Zhu Yilong was still missing for his Zhao Yunlan. He never thought that a separation could be that hurt. Should he erase the Shen Wei inside his heart to forget about that man? Or is that another way?

'Where are you now?' Shen Wei then asked, as he knew that even though Yun Lan was amusing when intoxicated, but he could also get himself into all kinds of trouble. Shen Wei always liked to make sure he was alright.

'In front of your apartment. And mine too, i guess.' He laughed. Shen Wei was just about to ask why hadn't he gone inside his apartment already, when the idiot kept on speaking.

'I actually happened to lose my keys, so i can't get inside my own apartment. And Da Qing- that damn fat cat- isn't inside either, so i'm fucked.' He murmured.

Shen Wei sighed. 'That sounds like something that you would do.' He said.

'It really does, doesn't it.' Yun Lan laughed, finding some happiness in the situation.
