Both Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei are oblivious idiots in love. While Yunlan is making arrangements to finally ask the professor out, he faces more obstructions than he had thought of.

People have been falling into death-like sleep for various reasons, or the lucky ones, if they could even be called lucky, would be inconvenienced by hair growing meters and meters long, their voice being taken away, literally, or being turned into all manner of animals. Or objects.

Shen Wei is one of the lucky ones. Zhao Yunlan is one of the unluckier ones.

He knew no beginning, knew not how he came to be. Nor did he think there would ever be an end. On a few occasions, he saw humans. He didn’t interact with them. This one, however, was different.

In the twilight before their next battle, Shen Wei and Ye Zun have a quiet dinner and revisit the moment that led to their lives as demon slayers.

The SID team plot their revenge against Zhao Yunlan for the prank he pulled on everyone.
Too bad no one told Shen Wei he was a part of it…

The natural order of things dictated that they were entitled to a break, and so Zhao Yunlan had taken it into his own hands to give his big beauty the break that he deserved.” Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan elope on a trip to the beach. The SID members aren't happy. Chaos ensues.
