Before Zhao Yunlan could even hug Shen Wei, blinding light engulf his whole being, and with splitting headache and nausea, he opens his eyes to find Shen Wei in front of him, and they're.. holding hands? No, they're doing a handshake.

After their unfortunate deaths, Shen Wei formulates a plan to help Ye Zun before he becomes a force of darkness. Zhao Yunlan is reincarnated in the distant past as Kunlun, while the brothers send him dreams from the vale of what is to come.

“What the fuck?” Zhao Yunlan rasps out.

His own eyes stare back at him, but they’re not his. They’re so different, their natural playful spark entirely gone, replaced by steel and cold. Shen Wei, with Zhao Yunlan’s hand and arm and body, stretches out a cup of coffee in front of himself, offering it to Zhao Yunlan.
