Today was one day where both of them were tired after coming home.
Yunlan had one difficult day at SID and Shen Wei had some class à little complicated.
And Shen Wei knew the day didn't really finish since he had to grade some copy but he was happy to be home with Yunlan.

Zhao Yunlan is a feral demon who cannot be trusted where Shen Wei's free time is concerned.

As an afterthought, Zhao Yunlan sifts his fingers up Shen Wei’s neck and into his hair. “How distracted are you going to let me make you?” Zhao Yunlan asks in a whisper.

Shen Wei seems to have disconnected. His pupils are blown, his breath is trembling, and his left hand is framed around Zhao Yunlan’s face all of a sudden.

“Oh good,” Zhao Yunlan says with genuine eagerness. “I was hoping you’d say that.”

Shen Wei stands at Kunlun’s latest grave. He hasn’t yet seen the new infant that Kunlun has reincarnated into; that will be his next stop after here. Kunlun’s soul always shines so brightly that it’s impossible for Shen Wei to ignore, no matter how much he tells himself to keep away.

The first time Shen Wei meets Yunlan, he is running away from his own wedding.

“I want a day where I can just love you. I want you to let me do as I please with you. I don’t mean to be cruel or tease. I just want to adore you," Zhao Yunlan tells Shen Wei.

The portal spat him out in Haixing. As soon as he began to fall, he shifted into cat form, instinctively twisting into a foot-down position and relaxing, so he was able to land safely with just a mild smack of his chin against the ground and slight bruising to his toe pads. He sat down and licked his paws to soothe the sting while he looked around.

He was home, outside the SID. It was night—well, a slight shimmer at the horizon and the rolled-up newspapers on some of the doorsteps said about an hour till sunrise—and the city was quiet, with just the background hum of delivery vans. It smelled normal. The invasion must be over.

He dropped his head on Shen Wei's shoulder, heavy—asleep before Shen Wei even could respond, and as he slept Shen Wei risked putting one arm around him.

Yunlan was happy to arrive at home after one day tiring after bureaucracy and meeting, he was glad to arrive at home and be with Shen Wei

When he arrived he saw Shen Wei at the kitchen and cooking but what surprised him was that he was wearing some of his clothes, it happens sometimes that Shen Wei wears his clothes because it's smells like him, it makes him think of him.

When Zhao Yunlan sees him like this, his heart can't stop beating faster.

Everyone in Zhao Yunlan's life suffers when he's functioning at peak husband levels.

“Please stop,” Chu Shuzhi says.

“Please go home,“ Zhu Hong says.

“Humans were a mistake,” Da Qing adds.

Shen Wei gets a second chance to change his past. Zhao Yunlan tries to stop him.

There were always two of them - The Guardian and The Professor. For all of the eternity and beyond that.

Shen Wei was surprised to see one new maybe a student in his class during the middle of the year, he is used to the fact some can come because other students talks about him that he is a good teacher.
But this one different and it's confirms what he thinks when he have come to see him at the end of the lecture

"Your lecture was good I can understand now how come people like you as a professor and that lots talk about what you teach. And you are also great" He said with his big smile "My name is Zhao Yunlan"

It's was strange it's was not one student who is with him, and also he was kinda like flirting with him.

Zhao Yunlan convinces Shen Wei to use a smartphone and tells him to play Neko Atsume.

“Well,” he says tentatively, the tip of his tongue darting out to wet his lips, “The harmonies of certain celestial bodies can be rather pleasant, especially in concert with each other.”

Zhao Yunlan takes a second to parse that, lifting an eyebrow as he says, “You were listening to the stars?”

A fox drags Zhao Yunlan onto a case by relieving him of his smartphone.

“Guardian is best,” the fox says. “Guardian rescues.”

“Oh, that definitely isn’t my job,” Zhao Yunlan says, eyes wide. “Don’t you go around telling creatures that, you hear me? I’m not some generic rescue worker open to any case. I only deal in weird shit, okay?”

The fox is unmoved. She says, “Kit stuck in side world crevice. Is weird shit.”
