“A couple of people,” Shen Wei says vaguely. “Longcheng is not a big city. It’s a pretty small legal community. You’re bound to run into some of them around.”
“And yet,” Yunlan says, tone light, “we’ve managed to go seven years without any contact at all. Imagine that.”
