Zhao Yunlan grew up without a mother in the shadow of his cold and rich, businessman of a father who was rarely at home. After dropping out of college, he decides to start a career in competitive running, and through his father's connections, crosses paths with 'Shen Wei, who cuts through the air like a scythe'—a former athlete who, for obscure reasons, gave up his dreams of going to the Olympics to become a coach. As mentor and mentee solidify their relationship through Zhao Yunlan's arduous training, feelings begin to form, much to Coach Shen's dismay.

It's going to take a long time for Shen Wei's physical injuries to heal. And his trauma? Zhao Yunlan doubts that'll ever be healed completely. So much for protecting Shen Wei and setting him free...now all he can do is care for him, and try, through words and actions, to express how sorry he is.
