Pursuing a suspect on the university campus, Zhao Yunlan runs into a certain professor - literally. While Shen Wei struggles with a Kunlun who doesn't remember him, Zhao Yunlan struggles with reorienting his views on Dixingren. Da Qing just wants his human to stop being an idiot.

In Shen Wei’s defence he hadn’t meant to establish himself as the contact point for young Dixingren finding their way to Haixing.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are both obliged to attend one of the swankiest, most exclusive parties on Dragon City's social calendar. Of course, the evening can't possibly go smoothly.

Zhao Yunlan's learned something impossible, and he suffers from that knowledge.

Shen Wei, the Black-Cloaked Envoy, stood stiff and startled, holding at arm’s length the small furry bundle Zhao Yunlan had just presented him with. It had nothing to do with Dixing—it wasn’t even Yashou. Had the SID branched out and become an animal shelter on top of its traditional duties? “I— What is this?”

“What is it?” echoed Zhao Yunlan. “It’s my gift to you, Hei-laoge—a token of the SID’s esteem. Have you never seen a kitten before?”

After a disappearance case in Haixing ends with Zhao Yunlan himself disappearing, Shen Wei must head the investigation. But when Zhao Yunlan returns he realizes Shen Wei is hiding something.

It had only been a few weeks. It was too soon to call it anything, this thing between them.

Shen Wei is a baker and a smuggler. Zhao Yunlan is the Chief of the SID, and isn't that all of the trouble?

What if the hallows didn't imprison Ye Zun, and Ye Zun decides to just, fuck Haixing, let's rule Dixing.

He returns.

Part 3 : Time to act. The aftermath of an aftermath.

Zhao Yunlan had vanished out of his life with nothing more than a “see you” four years and three months ago. And when he comes back, he's bringing trouble. Secrets, survellance and his ex-boyfriend: what more of a case could Shen Wei be assigned.

A missing scene set between episodes 22 and 23. How did that night spent in Dixing go?

In which Zhao Yunlan finds out that his boyfriend is a billionaire and that he was going to meet his crazy rich family.

Zhao Yunlan comes home injured. Shen Wei first tends to his wounds and then to an entirely different need.

Zhao Yunlan braced himself for this question, as the French reporter started “Bon après midi, chef Zhao…” He’d just swallowed another mouthful of water when, from his earpiece, came the translation.

“Good Evening Chief Zhao…” said the most sensual voice he had ever heard.

Zhao Yunlan froze.

Zhao Yunlan was very familiar with sleeping on couches. What he wasn't used to, though, was finding Shen Wei asleep on his.
