After you come back from Dixing, you go home with Changcheng.

Zhao Yunlan is fifteen when he attends the ceremonial signing of the new Haixing–Dixing–Yashou Treaty.

Shen Wei is a risk to technology on a good day, add the first sight of Kunlun in ten thousand years into the mix and you've got a recipe for disaster and a very broken elevator.

It might have started when he saw them cuddling on the couch – Ye Zun burrowing himself so close to Shen Wei’s body as if he wanted to hide underneath Shen Wei’s skin. He was clingy like that sometimes, touch-starved and pouting like a child when Shen Wei tried to move even an inch away.

Or maybe it started when he came back late at night one day and saw them sleeping together on the bed, legs tangled, faces so close that it looked as if they shared a breath.

Shen Wei’s smiling at him. It’s a beautiful smile, one that hooks itself into Zhao Yunlan’s stomach and pulls until he can barely breathe.

In which the opening of relations between Haixing and Dixing gives Shen Wei the opportunity to adapt an ancient Dixing ritual, one said to date from before the first Dixingren arrived on Haixing.
