Zhao Yunlan never minded waking up alone in his bed, and after a fair share of one-night stands he’d had, he never expected it to hurt.

"Zhao Yunlan...you don't live in a dormitory." A gorgeous woman with red lipstick and slightly above-shoulder-length hair tells him with a frown.

"I- what?" Zhao Yunlan blinks at them in confusion, looking back at Da Qing with urgency.

Da Qing's mouth parted slightly, staring at him with wide eyes, completely deep in thought.

Oh...Zhao Yunlan thinks he may know what happened.

"I...lost my memory, didn't I?" Zhao Yunlan looks around and the silence from everyone is enough of a confirmation on its own.

Most Dixingren living in Dragon City know him as Lan-gege, the guy who one of the first welcomed them in this unfamiliar realm and helped them get their bearings. Zhao Yunlan is very careful about keeping his identities separate, but it's all useless when the Black Cloak Envoy appears just as he is trying to evacuate a newly-manifested Dixingren from under the SID's nose.

After it's all over, Shennong's Bowl says goodbye to Kunlun and departs from Zhao Yunlan's father forever. But where does he go then?

Shen Wei closes his eyes.

Shen Wei turns to him, calm, devastatingly hot, and so adult he makes Zhao Yunlan feel about fifteen. Fifteen and desperate.

“Compensation?”

“Absolutely,” says Zhao Yunlan. “Whatever you want.”

“I bring an offering,” he starts, feeling the oddness of the words on his tongue. This is not an offering, not exactly. It’s not incense and gold worthy of a god, it’s not a string of worshipful words either, and yet with who they are, The Ghost King has no other word for it.

There is nothing else a ghost can offer to a god.

After Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan find each other and their way home, the two Rays think about Fraser. I’m afraid the outcome is spoiled by the title. But at least it’s short. The fic, I mean. The title is kinda mid length I guess.

Chu Shuzhi was going through the laborious task of matching report dates to timestamps on photographs and it wasn’t going well. He was mid-shuffle between three reports and six different pictures when the shadow of movement caught his attention.

The chore of matching was irritating enough that he couldn’t deny the faint relief he felt when he paused mid-shuffle to see who approached his desk.

“Chu-ge.” Guo Changcheng greeted when he was close enough. “Are we still going to get some dinner after our shift?”

Shen Wei's hands are cold. Fortunately, Zhao Yunlan has a plan to warm them up.

Shen Wei does not know what surprises him more, the pink sweater or the star-shaped pink hairclips on Zhao Yunlan's hair. Both, he thinks.
