Zhao Yunlan was the Chief of the Dragon City's Central Bureau, in the midst of pursuing not only serial killers, but also a gorgeous book-cafe owner named Shen Wei. A shame that the nerdy shop owner wasn't like what he seemed.

Zhao Yunlan woke up with a gasp, hand reaching out towards the air to grasp the figure that was gradually disappearing in front of him, tears pooling in his eyes.
As his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the bedroom, reality started to sink in — that it was all just a dream, that his Shen Wei was alive.

Or my take on life for Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan after the event of Extra 4/Episode 40.

A young Zhao YunLan climbed up a tree and found a little someone.

Shen Wei wakes up alone and on fire.

There is a fever consuming him from the inside out, almost as if the soulfire Kunlun had entrusted him so long ago had grown too bright and too large for his body.

An urgency rises in Shen Wei’s throat, threatening to choke him with its abrupt ferocity. It has been long since he last felt this unrestrained, this desperate to get exactly what he wants—what he needs.

And what he needs is…

KunLun is always worried for his Xiao Wei, even more if the little ghost gets hurt.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are the size of mice, clinging on to a snowy branch. Zhao Yunlan dangles from a frozen droplet and looks sheepishly down to where he could fall, while Shen Wei reaches toward him with a fretful shout!

Guo Changchend usually takes his camera to the SID to take a few photos, he likes keeping memories.

Zhao Yunlan embraces Shen Wei as they sit on the floor together. His expression is pinched, while Shen Wei appears bashful—yet unrepentant—and covered in minor wounds that have been treated with a first aid kit.

"Anything. Anything… for you." The last part was almost inaudible if it weren't for his keen senses. He felt the shells of his ears heating up and decided to ignore it. 

"Alright. Xiao Hei, let's teach you some manners first." And how to not flirt with every living and breathing person. 

“In the meantime, would you like a name?” the light asked. “’Plum blossom spirit’ is so long.”
He thought for a while. He had never considered the importance of names, but if the light thought he needed one, then maybe it was right. He nodded, and then pointed at the light.
“My name? Kunlun. As for you…how do you like Wei? You’re a majestic tree, after all. You deserve a majestic name.”

Somewhere at the foot of Mount Kunlun, there stood a lone plum tree...

Shen Wei adapts to being a reborn man in love, visits an old cottage, and plays music for his lover.

Accompanied with the flute.

In this lifetime, Kunlun is a grave robber.

The restlessness that has been building for weeks now, shifts and squirms inside him. Shen Wei closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to settle that feeling somewhat. Just for a moment.
