A week after the portal opened, the SID had a one-eyed guy in an expensive tailored suit lounging on the cot in lock-up, wearing the most smugly condescending smirk known to man. The detention area was filled with the incongruous scent of cherry blossoms, and Black-Cloaked Shen Wei would not move from his stony vigil in front of the cell. It was all exceedingly odd in exactly the way Yunlan had come to expect.
