I just like how Shen Wei subtly lets his guard down around Zhao Yun Lan.
So this is just a short comfort fic for my imagination :)

Shen Wei finally loses control and just /needs/ Zhao Yun Lan.
Blame ZYL's obsession with lollipops and the way he consumes them is just /obscene/.

The first century had been one of the hardest, feeling like eternity. After all, Shen Wei had been considered a youth then, not yet knowing the connotations of his longevity. The constant pressure of the war kept him going, giving him little time to be alone with his thoughts. Keeping himself busy seemed to be the only way Shen Wei could stop his thoughts from drifting.

Zhao Yunlan was confused, which wasn't a state he was used to.

I was curious about the show's canon that showed what seemed to be an acquaintance between the Black-Cloaked Envoy and the SID Chief - before Professor Shen meets Zhao Yunlan. Therefore, I wrote something about it.
