‘Which one are you?’ Zhu Yilong asked Bai Yu, his quiet voice bleeding out in the tense silence without an echo.

Zhu Yilong held Bai Yu’s gaze, and Bai Yu laughed, throwing an arm around his shoulder.

Zhu Yilong gloomily stared out of the clock, looking over the sun setting over the city. Tomorrow, the Tower would probably overlook a different city. Zhu Yilong rather pettily hoped it would look over a swamp. That would suit his mood right now.

“Aww, is my company that terrible?” Bai Yu asked from behind him.

Turning his head a little, Zhu Yilong shot him a glare from the corner of his eyes. “I don’t even know who you are.”

“You didn’t even look me up?” Bai Yu asked in surprise, looking disappointed at the idea that Zhu Yilong didn’t have him investigated.

Zhu Yilong is still very new and shy on the set of Guardian, but his overly friendly co-star Bai Yu helps him feel more comfortable by spending his mornings with him before filming.

Breaking his rule of never glancing at the audience while in a match, he turned around and scanned through the rows full of people. And that's when he found the most captivating pair of eyes boring into his own. Though concealed behind glasses, their sparkle was unhindered, almost heart-warming.
