He stood and packed his gear in his backpack, strapped it onto his shoulders, and stalked off along the gangway. “There are treasures missing from those human skin figures you showed me. They should all be outfitted alike but there are pearls missing. Lu Chen is dealing in stolen goods,” he called. “But you already knew that, didn’t you, Wang Junyi.”

They both move from set to set, and their paths briefly cross if they're lucky, and rarely, so rarely, they get to inhabit the same space for a couple of precious days, and learn each other anew.
