It had been 1 month, 6 hours, 27 minutes and 6 seconds since they broke up.
It felt surreal when everything ended. It still did. Bai Yu had felt as if Zhu Yilong would come into their shared flat any second, smiling and chuckling, talking about how it was all a joke.. That he truly hadn't planned on leaving him, hadn’t even thought of leaving the flat for real. But he didn’t, and so many days passed, and soon a month came.

There's more than one way to hold someone.

Others tell Zhu Yilong that he is pretty, handsome, gorgeous, dashing. But have they seen Bai Yu?

Disclaimer: I participate in fandoms a lot, but for this, I looked at no fic or discussions (even though I may exist in guardian discord servers) and came up with this silly idea by myself, likely laying in bed at night and just picturing scenes in my head.

Zhu Yilong thinks the guy cleaning his office window is cute, unfortunately he disappeared like a ghost. Years later he finds himself thinking about the same man, a part of him wishing to see him again. But what if he's already there?

"Where's your hand," Bai Yu asks, but it sounds like he already knows the answer, like he could tell exactly from the silence, from Zhu Yilong's breath. Like he just wants him to say the words.

Zhu Yilong swallows. "Where you wanted it," he says, and he can hear Bai Yu's smile in response.

Or: Bai Yu and Long-ge find that they can definitely do this over the phone.

It's been years since the tv series was shot and aired, and everyone seemed to have moved on. Until Zhu Yilong was presented a way back.
