This prompt: 6. Making fun of one another

Zhao Yunlan may be blind, but that just means he needs more practice.

Shen Wei is a casino operator. Zhao Yunlan is a professional gambler. Somehow, he gets lucky.

Shen Wei is dead, technically.

College professor Shen Wei listens to Kunlun's radio program most nights to avoid boredom while grading papers. He may have a little crush. It's not a big deal. Whatever.

Ye Zun cannot say for certain if he's ever had a friend, but there is no doubt in his mind that the closest to it was Zhu Jiu.

Zhao Yunlan stroked two fingers along his jaw and kissed him, lips bruising as that swift, clever tongue invaded. He kissed as he played, deft and passionate, weaving a rhythm of light and then deep that made Shen Wei forget everything.

When Zhao Yulan met Shen Wei he was only a up and coming violin superstar. Now he's in love with the chef who nearly lost everything.

No matter how much time had passed, no matter where we go... there will be a day where we meet again.

A missing scene at the end of episode 12. Zhao Yunlan has a shit day and deals with it in his own hands-on kind of way.

Zhao Yunlan grins saucily in the mirror at himself and presses into a particularly impressive mark at the base of his collar bone. He’s going to have to find one of his older t-shirts with the loose stretched collars to wear to the SID office tomorrow, already anticipating xiao Guo’s scandalized expression.

Yunlan can't open his eyes, can't shut his mouth. Needy, keening noises pour out of his throat completely out of his control. Shen Wei's other hand cradles his jaw, careful, reverent, but also serves to ground Yunlan to the bed so Shen Wei can fuck him harder, deeper.

“I don’t care about the price. I’m ready to die if it means he’ll be alive again.”

“Come back in three days,” she repeats. She writes the price, one of the highest she’s ever asked for, but she has no choice, and she knows Zhao Yunlan will be back in three days.
