LazyGeisha wanted some Chu/Guo for her birthday, and I wanted to give them a try, and what started as a little 1k project turned into this.

So here comes nearly 7k of Guo and Chu figuring out that they're in love. That's it, that's the fic. Oh and there's also knitting, volunteering, almost dying and a lil bit of smut, if you're into that kind of thing.

The gang all tried to warn Xia Yi Ho that messing with Zhao YunLan would be the death of him.
He didn't listen.
So he died.

Zhao Yunlan starts thinking about fucking Shen Wei after their second meeting.

“Cut me some slack,” Zhan Yao says, grinning. “I’m just curious. How often is it we get to see an immortal being?”

“If you leave me for Shen Wei, I will literally die,” Yutong grits out. He makes his way to Zhan Yao, and then tackles him to the couch, pressing his face to the crook of Zhan Yao’s neck. “You’re mine, mine, mine.”

(Or, the Guardian/SCI crossover ft. Jealous Boyfriends that no-one asked for.)

After his trip to the past 10,000 years ago, Zhao Yunlan attempts to adjust to the present.

Shen Wei’s eyelid twitch as Yunlan unwraps another lollipop, closes his spit-shiny lips around the spherical head while looking at Shen Wei under dark eyes and thick lashes. Fists clenched on his pant leg, Shen Wei swallows and tamps down the urge to grab Yunlan across the table.

“Look, I have no idea how I persuaded your dad to date me, Da Qing,” Zhao Yunlan says as he swivels around in his chair. “I got lucky with my charm and good looks."

Yunlan's bad at cooking.

Shen Wei had lived for enough millennia that he remembered when the mountains were young. He had seen the forests shed their first leaves, the beginning blush of autumn. He had seen the fire of a god’s heart spread across the land and collected the fragments with reverent fingers. He had seen the rise of people, watched buildings grow higher and higher until they scraped the very heavens like pillars of the Earth.

And now, he had seen the soul of Kunlun— the mountain god, his love, his mentor, worth the world and all his lonely years— shine from the eyes of a cat.

Da Qing and Shen Wei have a conversation about Zhao Yunlan, and a past memory is revisited.
