For Guardian Week 2020 Day 3: Fantasy; Action & Case Solving.

Following the "blind arc," Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei share an unbreakable bond in the form of dark energy flowing in between the two. When a new case appears in Dixing, Shen Wei is asked to investigate, only to return to Haixing with a deadly condition embedded in his body. Zhao Yunlan and the rest of SID work overtime trying to solve the mystery before Shen Wei perishes for good.

“Of course.” Zhu Hong waves her drink around again. “That’sss not the important thing. The important thing isss, Zhao Yunlan is a bad kisser.”

Silence.

“That… can’t be right,” Lin Jing says uncertainly. “The boss has definitely had multiple girlfriends. And I assume some boyfriends.”

They’re standing awkwardly in the corridor by their apartments. They’ve run out of trite phrases – “I’ll see you tomorrow” and “I guess I’ll turn in now” – but there’s still an undercurrent fizzing between them, something that neither is quite ready to act on, and yet neither is able to completely ignore either.

By this point, Shen Wei was pretty sure that Zhao Yunlan was either doing it on purpose or he had angered some Dixien whose power was making clothes disappear.

Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan move in together. Shen Wei's clothes start going missing.

The SID decide to pull a prank on Zhao Yunlan. It doesn't quite go as expected.
