“Do the thing!” Shouted Zhao Yunlan as he holstered his gun.

Da Qing, who was already in cat form, found himself suddenly scruffed and turned toward the creature that staggered at them.

“Lao Zhao, what the hell!” Shouted the cat even as he came face to muzzle with a mummy.

“Like in the movie!”

Zhao Yunlan comes home to find Shen Wei cooking with alarming intensity and no tiny white dragon in sight.

Shen Wei's epiphany. Set in Episode 38.

"How does it feel to be a legitimate business owner?" Chu Shuzhi asked.

"Odd," Ye Huo admitted. "Not having to hide is going to be strange."

Chu Shuzhi nodded. That he could understand. The SID now operated in the public eye; regular civilians knew about Dixingren. It was a different world.

Chu Shuzhi visits Ye Huo at his new gym.

"What did you see, Guo-qianbei?" the new SID hire ventured, darting concerned looks between them and the body.

"Give him a minute," Chu Shuzhi snapped. "He's just had to live this man's entire life."

A Dixingren dies in Chu Shuzhi's arms. Guo Changcheng has to use his powers. They both have a lot of feelings about it.

Zhao Yunlan turns on the light and bends down to take a look. A 7-year-old ( he guess?) long hair incredibly adorable kid is curling himself in a black cloak. Zhao Yunlan stares and then turns off the light then on again. 

Yup, still there. 

He thinks he may have opened his eyes in the wrong way somehow because that cloak even in a kid's size, still looks fucking familiar. 

Ye Zun is forced to live with Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei, wearing Energy suppressing cuffs and confined to Zhao Yunlan's apartment. He hates it and makes sure both Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei know it.

A confrontation with both Ye Zun and Shen Wei causes Zhao Yunlan to realise there's more to Ye Zun's behaviour than him trying to make a nuisance out of himself. It's the starting point for an attempt to make all their lives easier.

The Black-Cloaked Envoy is injured and Professor Shen didn't react well.

"Tada!" Zhao Yunlan announces as he tugs the hood of the costume onto Da Qing's head. "S.I.D's very own tiger mascot for the new year!"

Ye Zun discovers that the SID iguana isn't living in optimal conditions. He decides to do something about it.

No matter how long they'd been separated, Ye Zun knew his twin well enough to find the perfect punishment: Eternal torment, sweetened with just a hint of hope in the shape of Zhao Yunlan to force him to actually stay alive.

(Shen Wei, despite some lingering regret in the shape of leaving Zhao Yunlan behind, has made peace with his choice to die to save the world and, maybe, hopefully, his brother. Ye Zun, on the other hand, decides to punish his brother by saving him and entrusting his life to Zhao Yunlan. Who, of course, is determined to get Shen Wei as used to happiness as he is to pain.)

When Zhao Yunlan comes home, he finds Ye Zun outside in the falling snow.
