' I'm not worthy of all you've done for me.' Yun Lan murmured, looking at Shen Wei with worry in his eyes. ' You are.' Shen Wei spoke, a second later without a single hint of regret in his voice. He was determined, and that angered Yun Lan. As he knew the other didn't care about his own health anymore. Which would cause harm to the both of them in the end. Yun Lan snapped. ' You are not immortal! Why would i owe you like this? Do you want me to owe you my life? To kneel down in front of you?' He yelled, veins protruding in his forehead and cheeks turning red with anger. He did not know what he saw flash across Shen Wei's face right then, but it was a perfect mix between hurt and sadness. Taking a hurried step forward, hands shaking and eyes turning redder with each blink. His eyes shifted from Yun Lan's eyes, to his lips. ' I am giving you... this life back.' He whispered, close to tears. |
