In which the opening of relations between Haixing and Dixing gives Shen Wei the opportunity to adapt an ancient Dixing ritual, one said to date from before the first Dixingren arrived on Haixing.

It might have started when he saw them cuddling on the couch – Ye Zun burrowing himself so close to Shen Wei’s body as if he wanted to hide underneath Shen Wei’s skin. He was clingy like that sometimes, touch-starved and pouting like a child when Shen Wei tried to move even an inch away.

Or maybe it started when he came back late at night one day and saw them sleeping together on the bed, legs tangled, faces so close that it looked as if they shared a breath.

Shen Wei is a risk to technology on a good day, add the first sight of Kunlun in ten thousand years into the mix and you've got a recipe for disaster and a very broken elevator.

Tensions are high after Ye Zun moves in with Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan. To smooth things over, Zhao Yunlan decides to cook dinner for everyone.

When Shen Wei touches him for the first time, it's a revelation.
