Shen Wei has been chained forever. There is no past, no future: not here in Dixing, where clocks have never been invented and the night has never surrendered to the day.

“I'm the keynote speaker, Yunlan; I can't just hare off for hours!” Shen Wei gathered himself before continuing, “However, as their kind mostly keeps to the oceans and seldom wears human form, they haven't seen me. So I was wondering... Perhaps you could wear my robes and shortly reassure them that the Black-Cloaked Envoy is willing to listen to their concerns?”

(Shen Wei, the esteemed Black-Cloaked Envoy, has been double-booked to a meeting with a Yashou tribe and a scientific conference.)

“I will, Shuzi,” Changcheng said, leaning his face into Shuzi’s palm and nodding fervently. “I promise.”

The White Robed Envoy swiveled around to point at him. “You,” he said. “Don’t know who I am.”

“That is… largely true, yes,” Zhao Yunlan agreed.

“And you don’t know who he is,” the Envoy said.

Zhao Yunlan reviewed their brief conversation and found no clues. “Who?”

“Exactly!” the Envoy exclaimed. “This is all wrong! I don’t understand what’s happening.”

I’m coming! I’m coming for you! He cried, he screamed, he willed his words to find Xiao-Guo, to give him strength.

While Shen Wei thinks the washing machine would be a wonderful surface for sex, Zhao Yunlan isn't sure if he agrees. Then again, how could he deny his lovely Shen Wei anything?

After use of the Hallows results in an explosion that strips Ye Zun of his powers and brings Shen Wei back from his stomach, Zhao Yunlan catches no break: there's a chemical spill near the Snake Tribe lands, and his superiors want him to investigate. To make matters even less pleasant, resident hottie Shen Wei still resists his charms.

Ye Zun gets a little bit further from his pillar before starting his grand masterplan. He also needs to recruit some more minions. Like Ya Qing.

Today Zhao Yunlan was working hard at SID and it's was late and he wasn't home yet, he was alone at the SID.
He missed Shen Wei, he even touched his wedding ring and kissed it.

Oh, there was another guest. Ye Zun let his gaze trail over the young man. He was more slender than his twin, with glasses where his brother wore none (or contacts?), clean-shaven where his brother had a neatly-trimmed beard and mustache, carefully-combed hair where his brother had a too-long, unruly mop.

“Sorry,” said Ye Zun, “I didn’t see you there in your brother’s shadow.”

Da Qing can’t be angry about the stupid cat sweater Zhao Yunlan got for him, can he?
