Zhao Yunlan lay beside him on the bed, on his side turned toward Shen Wei—motionless, but for the small rise and fall of his chest—but too fast for deep sleep. And his face was wet, the tears overflowing from his closed eyes only the faintest shimmer in the room's darkness.

Zhao Yunlan knows that Shen Wei have missed some stuff of modern Haixing like some date night while watching movies or even just eat chocolate.
He was surprised when Shen Wei told him that the last time he have buy a chocolate muffin was the first time he tasted chocolate. So Zhao Yunlan decided to maybe make some hot chocolate he knows how to do when he wants to stay at home and just chill or when it's raining.
He told the team that no one should disturb him and Shen Wei during the whole night because he have a plan and wanted to do one surprise to Shen Wei.

Zhao Yunlan was innocently contemplating the Hallows when Shen Wei strode in. Then the Hallows started playing mood music, and the world became a lot more confusing.

Shen Wei handed him the spoon and looked at him. While Zhao Yunlan dried it off, Shen Wei said quietly, "What did you intend?" And there was a husky, thrilling edge to his voice that nearly caused Zhao Yunlan to drop the spoon.

Zhao Yunlan put it away and met his gaze. What should he say? Where should he start? How obscene could he be?

Zhao Yunlan's strategy to get Shen Wei into his bed is successful--more or less. Set after episode 14 (assumes a couple of days between episodes 14 and 15).

Still feeling incredibly upset, even though he knew Zhao Yunlan was just doing his job, Shen Wei decided they needed to talk things out. No more secrets, no more yearning, all the cards shown and both hearts open.

Zhao Yunlan either had really good timing, or could read minds, because Shen Wei’s phone rang loudly. Taking a deep breath to center himself, Shen Wei accidentally declined the call instead of answering. Technology had a vendetta against him, and he was done with it.

"Do you want me to leave?"
 
Shen Wei was slow to reply, but it was not a hesitation. In fact, Zhao Yunlan saw the answer in his eyes almost immediately, but Shen Wei would need to say it.
 
"No," Shen Wei said, and in whatever war he was fighting with himself, saying it was either a major victory or a major defeat.

Zhao Yunlan spends another night with Shen Wei and everything goes according to plan--more or less. Set after episode 14 (assumes a couple of days between episodes 14 and 15).
