Sharp teeth nip lightly at his fingers, and his lips stretch into a helpless smile. Dutifully, he resumes his petting of the tangle of tiny dragons dozing in his lap.

After what was almost the end of the world, Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei celebrate their very first Lunar New Year at home in the kitchen.. though both have a very different idea of celebration.

So maybe Zhao Yunlan should order that Kiss The Cook apron he'd seen online, not that he actually needs the encouragement.

Zhao Yunlan rescues a tiny dragon in the mountains. The tiny dragon is also a beautiful man. And possibly a Dixingren? Either way, he's definitely magnetic in ways Zhao Yunlan really didn't expect.

I love seeing Chu ge's journey of acceptance of his own feelings for Changcheng. At first, he finds him annoying at best, incompetent at worst. But as they spend time together and really get to know each other, Chu ge slowly realizes that Changcheng is his best friend and that he would do whatever it takes to protect him.

Zhao Yunlan isn't fooled for a single second when Ye Zun walks into SID, dressed like Shen Wei. He manages to one-up Ye Zun but Ye Zun's reaction is far from what he'd expected.

Ye Zun makes assumptions based on his past and is confused when his predictions do not come true. He doesn't understand the people of SID. He doesn't understand them at all. Why are they nice?

" Oh and if you don't have anywhere to go on New Year's Eve, feel free to join us at the SID, Hei Lao Ge!"

“Would Your Honour like to see in the New Year with us?” The invitation is out of Zhao Yunlan’s mouth before he realizes it. Even though he knows what the reaction of his employees will be, he has a sudden wish that the Ghost Slayer would accept.

“I know you're hoping that you will someday recover from…” he gestures at Shen Wei's body, which remains perfectly still, “but truth be told, gege, I wouldn’t mind if you stayed this way forever. That way you’d have no choice but to stay by my side, wouldn't you?"

Illuminated by the light inside the house, Shen Wei stared back at him. “Father,” he said, and the frilly apron would look ridiculous on anyone else, but he somehow made it look natural. “Why don’t you come in?”

Or, Zhao Xinci visits his sons for Lunar New Year and regrets all his life choices.
