He must be dreaming, because there's no way he magically slept and opened his eyes to a stranger who seems unreal in so many levels. Definitely unreal. Because same stranger feels like he came straight out of an oil painting worth an amount that will absolutely get him investigated for corruption, if he ever bought it. The stranger looks at him with a tender gaze, filled with devotion which seems misplaced for the sole reason that it's directed at him. So yes, he must be dreaming.

And well, in other words, Zhao Yunlan is definitely fucked.

Five ways the world could have gone.

Zhao Yunlan returns from the past to find that Shen Wei has forgotten their future. The last memory Shen Wei has is 10,000 years old, and he only recognizes one person. The wormhole is closed, the Hallows are no help, and Ye Zun’s brainwashed army is flooding through the portal between worlds.

While a Dixing General is at least as prepared to turn back a rebel invasion as a university professor, Shen Wei has no idea how to relate to his colleagues or his friends... least of all Zhao Yunlan, who has no time to mourn the life they had when everything they know now is under threat.

Since Shen Wei and Yunlan are together, sometimes it happens that Yunlan is a little jealous of Shen Wei when he talks to others like some of his student because you know rumors about teacher and student.
And also he have heard sometimes about how the girl student says that he is looking handsome.

They need to celebrate, to shake off the last week of close calls, and going by Zhu Hong’s choice of entertainment, tonight they want to feel like regular office workers blowing off steam.

Looking back, Shen Wei can see how thoroughly Kunlun interrogated him. The careful questions, the encouraging smiles... Shen Wei told Kunlun things he had never told anyone else, things he hasn't told anyone since. It had been so flattering that a hero like Kunlun would show such avid interest in him.

In the present, with secrets he cannot share, that unremitting curiosity is a torment.
